Reminders...

Hello MAT Members...here are a few reminders!

***There will be a "Practice Session" Monday, October 30, 2006 at 2:45pm, room 9111. You must attend one per month and hand-in at least one test per month!!!

***Our next meeting date is Friday, November 3, 2006 at 2:45pm, room 9111.

***Remember that you must turn-in a copy of your report card once they come out on November 6!

***The FAU competition packet is due November 10,2006. You must complete it and send it by mail!!!

***We have a CHIP SALE coming up!!! It will last 2 weeks... 11/6-11/17 !!!!

REMEMBER...that the American Mathematics Competition is October 24, 2006...listen for announcements or visit your math teacher for information.

REMEMBER...that the FAU Internet Competition is due by November 10, 2006...you must send your answers by mail to the address provided in the packet!

REMEMBER...that you must turn in a copy of your Report Card by Thursday, November 9...please turn them in to room 9111 (Mrs. Picchiarini).

2. FAU Internet Mathematics Competition
(prepares us for the formal competitions held in the spring of 2007!)

Solve problems posted at the site between now and Nov. 10, 2006 or pick up a copy of problems during meeting and send by mail before deadline!

***Prizes will be awarded to top contestants. Other contestants with good performances may also receive book prizes.

3. Reminder- Tutoring Hours (Pick-up an "hours sheet")

*Underclassmen = 8 hours

*Seniors = 10 hours before April for Chords

4. Reminder- Practice Sessions (October 23rd and 30th) after School!

***Every member is required to attend at least one practice session/month
***Every member is required to complete the competition packets and hand in at least one/month

5. Reminder- Hand in copy of Report Card when they come out (Nov. 6, 2006)
...this is mandatory!

6. Vote on T-shirt Design! (Shirts will be ordered in about two weeks!!!)

Hello Everyone...This is a reminder that there will be a Mu Alpha Theta meeting this coming FRIDAY, October 13 at 2:45pm in room 9111. It is extremely important that everyone attends this meeting we will be discussing an upcoming competition...also, if you have NOT payed DUES please do so this week or during our meeting ($20 new members & $15 returning members)!!!
